I always make shami kababs and freeze for Ramzan. Its always handi for sehri and dinner or late night bhook. This time I am sharing shami kababs with qeema, previously I shared with beef boti resha kababs. But wanted to make with qeema they were so delicious.

Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Frozen shami kababs:

  1. 500 gms beef qeema
  2. 1/2 cup chanay ki daal soaked
  3. 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
  4. 5_6 cloves garlic
  5. 1 inch piece ginger
  6. 1/2 tsp haldi
  7. 5_7 red button chillies
  8. 6_8 black peppercorns
  9. 1 black ilaichi
  10. 1/2 tsp white zeera
  11. 1 tsp sabut dhania
  12. 1 tbsp garam masala powder
  13. 1 tsp salt /as required
  14. 1_2 eggs
  15. For filling kababs
  16. 1 small onion chopped
  17. 2 tbsp dhania Podina chopped
  18. 4_5 Green chillies chopped
  19. 1 tbsp dahi thick

Steps to make to make Frozen shami kababs

  1. In cooking pot add qeema with water to cook, add gg paste,soaked daal, garlic cloves ginger, red button chillies, black pepper,whole coriander onion, cinnamon, black cardamom, green chilli one, garam masala powder, haldi add salt when qeema is cooked.
  2. When boil comes keep flame medium low and cook till qeema, daal and ingredients cooked and dried.
  3. Cool and take out black pepper, ilaichi and cinnamon stick as they doesn't grind in my grinder, now grind fine, taste salt n chilli now.
  4. Now add the chopped ingredients, egg and mix well with hands. Add little dahi now and mix well. Now keep the mixture in fridge for 40_50 mins. Take out mix again and make kababs.
  5. For freezing take a tray and grease with oil then arrange kababs on it than cover it with a plastic sheet than put another layer of kababs on it. Cover and freeze till hard and frozen Then take out and make bags of 6 or 12 kababs according to your need..
