- 1 kg. Sela Rice or Basmati Rice
- 2 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
- 10-12 Green chillies finely chopped
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1 tsp. dhania powder

- 1 tsp. white pepper powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp javitri powder
- 1/4 tsp. jaifal powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 star anise
- 3-4 cinnamon sticks
- 2 black cardamom
- 4 green cardamom
- 6 cloves
- 1/2 tsp black pepper corn
- 1_1/2 tsp White cumin
- 1_1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp almond or cashew nut powder
- 8-10 alu bukhara
- 4-5 big green chillies
- 1/2 bunch podina
- 1/2 bunch hara dhania
- 4 medium size tomatoes cut into slices
- 1 cup fried onion
- 1 cup oil
Steps to make to make Chicken White Biryani
- Marinate chicken with yogurt, green chillies chopped, black pepper powder, white pepper powder, g.g paste, almond powder, dhania powder, garam masala powder, javitri powder, jaifal powder, salt, cinnamon stick, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, cumin, black pepper corn, star anise, bay leaves, 1/2cup fried onion, sliced tomatoes and leave for half hour.
- In a pot heat oil add marinated chicken, cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes now add alu bukhara, podina, hara dhania and big green chillies, cook for 2 to 3 minutes and set aside.
- In a big pot add water and bring it to boil add salt and 1 tsp black cumin with rice and boil until 3/4th done then strain and set aside
- Now in a big pot add half cooked rice now layer with cooked chicken and again add remaining rice sprinkle half remaining fried onion and 2tbsp of ghee some drop of kewra water, give dum for 5 minutes on high flame and then 10 minutes on low flame serve with kachumar salad and raita
