- 1 handful mint leaves
- 6 green chillies slit
- 4 cup Water
- As Required Salt
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 6 cardamom pods
- 6 cloves
- 2 stick cinnamon
- 2 tbsp curd
Steps to make to make Prawn biriyani/shrimp biriyani
- First, soak the rice in water for 30 mins. Then marinates the prawn with ☝️all the above ingredients. chops all the vegetables set aside.
- Heat oil and ghee into a pot add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and sauté for a few minutes. Then add the shrimps to oil over low heat and fry until the shrimps change color.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until it turns light golden brown. Then add ginger garlic paste and sauté on low flame for a minute. Then add turmeric powder, chili powder and mix it well.
- Add tomato, green chili, coriander, and mint leaves. Next, begin to sauté on a very low flame for 3to 5minutes.Then add biriyani masala,curd mix it well.
- The gravy comes with thick consistency add water and salt. cover it and cook for five minutes. You can adjust by adding salt or spicy
- Next, pour the rice into the gravy and mix it well. cover it and cook for 10 minutes on high flame. After we remove the pan from the stove, heat an old tawa until very hot. place this biriyani pot over the pan. Layer the rice, mint, and coriander leaves. Add ghee as well. Then close the lid. Lower the flame and cook for 10 minutes. switch off the stove and allow to rest for 15mins.
- Serve prawn biriyani with raita or boiled egg enjoy.
