Instructions to make to make Falahari Dhokla
- In a grinder jar add sama rice, pearl/ sago /sabudana and grind it.
- Take it off in a mixing bowl then add salt, curd, green chilli paste and mix well. Add 1/2 cup of water to adjust the consistency of batter.
- Cover it and keep aside for at least 15-20mins.
- Grease dhokla plate with little oil. add water into the steamer and keep it on a high flame to preheat.
- Check the consistency of batter, if required add more water. Add eno fruit salt and quickly mix very well. (This will make dhokla more fluffy and spongy). Immediately transfer the mixture into the dhokla plate and steam for 15 mins.
- For tempering heat oil in a small pan. When oil becomes hot add cumin seeds, let them splutter then add green chillies, curry leaves stir for few seconds. Add water and sugar let it come to a boil then switch off the flame and pour the tempering mixture over the dhokla, garnish with some chopped fresh coriander, cut it into pieces and serve hot with peanut Coconut chutney or mint coriander chutney.
