- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- To taste salt
- Others:
- 2 large onions
- 1 tblsp Adrak lehsan paste
- 4-5 glass water
- 150 gram oil
- 125 gram Yogurt
Steps to make to make Mutton yakhni pulao
- In a pot, add mutton and all the above-mentioned spices and onions, adrak lehsan and 4-5 glass of water and bring it to boil.
- Now slow down the flame and let it cook until mutton becomes tender and yakhni remain 3 glasses or less.
- On the other hand, soak rice.
- When yakhni becomes ready and mutton becomes tender, extract all the mutton pieces and strain the stock/yakhni and set aside.
- Now in another pot, add oil and fry onions until golden brown.
- Now add adrak lehsan paste and mutton and fry it for 1 minutes and add yogurt in it.
- Stir it so well means (bhoonai) and then add 3 glass stock.
If stock is not enough then add hot water. - Add salt and bring it to boil. Adjust salt it should be more than regular taste in stock so that it will adjust when we add rice.
- Now add soaked rice and mix it well with spoon and then cooked on high flame for 4-5 minutes and then put it on dum until rice done.
