- Aaloo bhukara soaked in 1 cup water to softened it up
- Green chillies whole

- Zaafran,khewra n biryani essence 1/4 tsp each

- Marinate chicken with the above mentioned ingredients for 30 mins.
- Put oil n fry onions till golden
- Now add marinated chicken n fry for 5 mins.
- Next add tomatoes n cover n cook till almost tender.
- Now add aaloo bhukara too along with lemon juice n put on dum for 2 mins.
- In a pot put oil 2 tbsp with 1/4 cup water n put rice, coloured mixture, chicken mixture, corriander leaves,again rice n repeat layers.
- Final layer will be of rice with colour mixture, corriander leaves n whole green chillies.
- Put on high for 5 mins n give dum of 15 mins till done.
- Dish out and garnish with mint leaves.
- Serve with raita /salad.
