- Marinate the mutton with the items indicated and set aside for 1 hour



- Slice 1 onion into a birista and set aside for garnishing. Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes

- Heat 6-7 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker and add the whole spices.
- Add sliced onions. Fry till the onions are light brown. Add the marinated mutton.

- Add another layer of rice and close the lid and cook for 5- 6 mins. Biryani is ready to serve
