- For kadhi:
- 1 cup sour curd
- 2 tablespoon besan
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp green chilli paste
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- To taste Salt
- As needed Oil
- 3 Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Coriander leaves
- For white pulav:
- 2 cups Cooked Basmati Rice
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 1/2 tsp Jeera
- Pinch Hing
- 2 medium size Onion Sliced
- 1 medium size carrot sliced
- 1-2 Green Chillies Slit
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 2 medium sized Boiled Potatoes Sliced
- 1 medium sized Chopped Green capsicum
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- As needed Coriander Leaves for garnishing
Steps to make to make Gujarati dish
- Steps for puri:
Knead a soft dough and rest for a while.
Now divide into small balls and roll into round shape & heat the oil & fry the puri well. - Steps for bhindi:
Take a pan and heat the oil at low flame for few minutes. Now add mustard seed after few seconds add chopped bhindi and green chilli in the pan.
After 5-10 minutes add salt,red chilli powder, turmeric and cumin coriander powder in mixed vegetables.
Mix it and Fry it for 5-6 minutes.
Your bhindi is ready. - Steps for kadhi:
Take one bowl add sour curd, besan, ginger garlic chilli paste and salt churn with hand blender pour 1 glass water or more for required consistency.
Keep one kadhai on flame add oil mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves let all fried for a few minutes add asafoetida mix and immediately pour curd mixture into the tadka.
Boil kadhi for 8-10 minutes stirred continuously. Add chopped coriander leaves. Now kadhi is ready to serve. Serve with pulav. - Steps for white pulav:
Heat up the oil in kadhai on medium flame. Add jeera and hing. then add onions and cook till it turns translucent. Now add carrots and capsicum, cook for a minute.
Add green chillies and green peas. Mix well, add salt and black pepper powder. Mix well. Now add boiled potatoes and cooked basmati rice. Mix all well and cook for a minute. Turn off the flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
